DAY 13 of 30
quirk
noun (plural quirks)
- an idiosyncrasy; a slight glitch, mannerism; something unusual about the manner or style of something or someone
Going by the plan i will thank God for a unique quirk. My first thought at this was, how do I thank God for what I do not completely understand or that which I haven't had a full grasp of?.Well, the point is if it can be defined, there is a way forward and if we do not understand it, we can believe it. Anything and everything is worth thanking God for. As defined above a quirk is something unusual, perhaps an imperfection or a strange style or manner.
At times I feel a burst of energy,to do many things at the same time....but focus with prioritization i begin to find is essential to the success of every venture.
I appreciate God for every uniqueness, it is in our unique differences that the strongest alliances are formed.
Our differences create an avenue for the greatest form of Synergy.
Ever grateful!

GRATEFUL FOR A SKILL
30 days of Gratitude :DAY 12 of 30
GRATEFUL FOR A SKILL
SKILL (noun): the ability to do something that comes from training, experience, or practice
I am always a proponent of skills. My background I believe made it so. I grew up watching my Dad start up a shoe workshop where he made shoes for both sexes, despite having an accounting degree from the University; he ran the workshop before he moved on to paid employment.
So while we went to school he made us see the need for informal forms of education like getting a skill that can always pay the bill anytime, especially vocational skills.
Things have changed today, one might not always need only vocational skills but one will always need survival skills-some of which are soft skills, essential and needed for any circumstance.
Having learnt some skills all through my school times, skills ranging from a 2-week shoe mending class at LOBITO, a workshop down our old street (now I wish it were an early course in programming or computer networks),.a bit of painting, and my first computer lessons on Windows 2000 during my high school summer breaks to some holiday trainings in GSM repairs and circuits .
While I am grateful for the opportunity to have learnt these skills, I am much more grateful for a skill, the skill I learnt during the months-long strike in my final years at the University. I had teamed up with my very close friend Paul and I learnt the skills involved in Satellites and installations of it. I am grateful for this skill today; it is one of the core skills in the kits of my technological skills with high commercial values. These skill is part of the IT and other Engineering services we offer today at Emmandus Networks Nig. Ltd. (a company in which Emmandus Inspirational Network aka House of Emmandus, is the consulting arm)
Skills answer the question of “How” and the right skills can always pay the bills. I am grateful for Skills.

GRATEFUL FOR A PET
DAY 11 of 30
Today i thank God for a pet. My pet was a wonderful dog called Tasker. I love nice, neat and well trained dogs.
Tasker was a brownosh-black mongrel breed, we had gotten months before we moved to our new country home. I took it in as a puppy and began to train it.
I trained it and it could obey some simple.commands like sitting, shaking hands etc.
Tasker was a lovely dog that i felt almost became a part of the family, placing a phone call back home from Uni and asking of 'everybody' wasn't complete until i had asked after 'Tasker'.
Tasker. An aunt suggested the name while I was reviewing the best names. The name is actually a variation of Laska, the first dog that landed on the moon.
It was a lovely dog and my siblings couldn't help crying when it got so old and died some times last year.
Every one needs a pet, perhaps a dog or whatever you like...Tasker was a great pet and I am so grateful to God to have had it.
I love to read your feed backs on your comment section of you are open to sharing with us.
Just being grateful,

GRATEFUL TO GOD FOR FINANCIAL BLESSNGS
DAY 10 of 30
Today I am grateful to GOD for financial blessings. Today being a sunday, i love to do a spirituality post. At the same time I will love to share personal stories as well.
I have been blessed in so many ways financially and i might just sight some instances, the reason i will share a few personal stories is to break the ice. You know most times we live in cultures where people feel rather uncomfortable to talk about money, it is even very common to find couples not really open to discussion on finances and yet this is very crucial to the health of any relationship
Some moments of financial blessings I remember was when I was home from the Polytechnic and as a young guy, my mum handed me some thousands of naira (a few hundred dollars) , to buy some clothes for myself- wow! that was about 10 years ago and for me that was much,so I went on bought myself the nicest bagggy jeans and stuffs like that and i did got some shares of a particular bank...For me that experience of receiving that financial blessing was more to me than the money or the stuffs i bought with them. It was both a lesson in giving and parenting... I am grateful for this blessing.
One similar situation was when i received another sum- some thousands of naira (a few hundred dollars) from my Dad, for my registration, school fees and accommodation when I gained admission to the University. I believed that was also a phenomenal financial blessing to me.
One afternoon while working as an intern and resident consultant at a construction site, an elderly Engineer wrote me a cheque and shook my hands and said with a smile, "we appreciate your efforts" that also was a moment of financial blessing.
One recent financial blessing was also when i received my first Google cheque -a few hundred dollars, ( I might share more of these later or in person..) Another instance was when I made my first earnings in Network Marketing and I still did weeks ago ( as a matter of fact, our company A2W, pays weekly in dollars!)
I have been blessed to receive financial blessings from a free bus ticket to other huge financial blessings and I am grateful to God for them all.
It's God's desire that we experience financial blessings through different means everyday of our lives. This is becaue there is enough money in the world to be made and to move around- lots of money!
I pray for good fortune in everything you do, and for your good health—that your everyday affairs prosper, as well as your soul! 3 John 1:2 MSG
The more grateful we are for God's financial blessings the better positioned we are to receive more from the abundance that exists.
Forever grateful,
Emmanuel Ayeni

THANKING GOD FOR A PERSON THAT INFLUENCED ME
It's been a great day. I can't but be grateful to God for journey mercy-over 6 hours of traveling on Nigerian roads and arriving at my destination safe and sound.
Moving by the gratitude plan, I will thank God for a person that has influenced me. We meet people everyday and every time but they impact us
in different ways.
I have been positively influenced by a number of people over the years, yet I am grateful for someone who had influenced me positively- especially into the world of good books,
self help books- My elder sister. She always brought home some christian literature and self help books from her college's library, and I found them so wonderful, from reading Gifted hands by Ben Carson, to reading Power of positive thinking by Norman Vincent Peale and other amazing books by John Maxwell. These books all whetted my appetite for more , till I went for more great books by Zig Ziglar at the state library. The works of Zig Ziglar influenced me more into the world of motivation and a bit of selling.
I thank God for all the wonderful people who influenced me, most especially my elder sister, Layo.
With all Gratitude,
Emmanuel Ayeni

THANK GOD FOR A COMFORTABLE THING
Today as always I am once again a grateful soul. I am grateful for a comforting thing.
In actual sense there are so many things we can always be grateful for as they are still comforting amidst the vagaries of life.
It's so comforting to know that though sorrow last for a night time, joy comes in the morning.
It's comforting to know that God's plans for us are plans of good not of evil.
It's also comforting to know the whole world lies amidst so much abundance and if we believe, desire and add action to faith, we will surely receive in bountiful measures.
It's comforting to know that a man can begin to alter the course of his own life through conscious effort based on God's ability resident in Him.
Alll these are comfortable and I am grateful to God.
Grateful soul,
Emmanuel Ayeni

THANK GOD FOR PROBLEMS SOLVED
DAY 7 of 30
THANK GOD FOR PROBLEMS SOLVED
If we set our mind to thank and appreciate God, we will discover how indebted we are to him.
A Yoruba proverb stresses that ' gratitude is usually the product of deep thinking' . This means we can never run out of reasons for being grateful.
So tonight I choose to thank God for problems solved. The whole world is full of problems ... and also solutions. It all depends on the spectacle through which we see the world.
One person looks and sees problems another looks and sees or anticipates a solution.
Problems give us capacity for growth, I thank GOD for problems solved.
It will be almost impossible to pinpoint only one problem solved out of the many wonderful stories i could possibly share, however, I am so grateful for how the problem of my University admission was solved.
I had graduated from the high school and applied for admission into the university via the University Matriculation Examination but I stillcouldnt gain admssion due to my low test scores, I took the exam the 2nd and 3rd time, I refused to give up my plan and desire for a University degree and so I attempted the exam again even while at the polytechnic and I finally made it to the University.
I am grateful for this and many more problems solved.
Grateful!
