THE SECRET OF GREATNESS...

The secret of Success and greatness have always been the pursuit and the unending quest of man  from all ages. However, It is that which isn't enshrouded in mystery after all. It has always been with us and within our grasps, but so often, we fail to always realize the obvious and embark on an endless pursuit . What is the secret of Greatness and Living.. This is the subject today

Make Giving your obsession. You have never really began to live until you have began to  give. Giving is the greatest form  of living. The greatest men who walked this planet gave the greatest gift to the world.
The richest King in History, King Solomon was known for sharing his great wealth of wisdom, proverbs and songs with the world, Jesus of Nazareth gave the greatest gift of His own life to the world. Mother Theresa's name was inscribed on the pages of history because of her giving, she gave her love and material gifts to the poor people  of Calcutta, Mahatma Gandhi gave the gifts of leadership,freedom and values which can not be easily quantified to the people of India, Nelson Mandela gave the gifts of Forgiveness, inspirational leadership and his greatness to the whole world, the pages of history are filled with names of great people who have left their names on the sands of time because of their giving.
Becoming a giver is a great rule that has been practiced by great leaders, top influencers and the world's greatest brands. Bill Gates through Microsoft gave the world  the gift of a wonderful product- Windows operating system, Steve Jobs gave the world the gift of innovation through various Apple products, and the list is endless. Some of the world's  top billionaires like Warren Buffet have signed The Giving Pledge to share their wealth with charity, this simply amplifies their giving nature .
We all actually have been giving consciously or unconsciously  before now,but this is a call to raise your giving to an entirely new level. If you must achieve greatness. It is of great importance that you begin to give consciously,deliberately and generously.
We all have different things to give but we must give what we are already endowed with at a higher level of excellence.
We can all give a gift of a smile, kindness, a gift of our honest efforts, our gifts, time talents and in some cases our material gifts.
The one person who has nothing in the world still has something to give-the gift of gratitude and this opens the door to other things!
When you give more value you get more value in return. This is the secret of living a great life.

Man is a spirit being that lives in a body and he has a soul. There is an unseen dimension to the universe, quantum physics attempts to explain this as a component in which the vibrations are higher than can be perceived with the human eye.. this is called the spirit dimension
Everythin is formed on the inside first before on the outside. There is a higher energy that created all things that maintains order in all of creation . This Supreme master ,Universe or whatever word you choose to describe his sovereignty is God.
He created all things in the world and life in itself be close to him this year this is essential to your success.
God’s is the Highest Energy in the world, He is the source of all power and the greatest Power in the world. So the closer you stay to Him , the easier and better you can manifest your greatness. Every true greatness is an extension and expression of God’s Greatness.
Stay in touch with your Spirituality. Man is a spirit. He has an unseen dimension with vibrations higher than what can be perceived by the physical eyes or senses. All these were created by the Supreme, Universe ie. The Creator, God.

NEVER BACK DOWN

It's a great day to be alive. Welcome to the new year and as it is common in every new year, we begin to set new resolutions and begin to set new goals, however it is not unusual for many to be overwhelmed with feelings of resentment and depression for goals that were not achieved in the past year and to easily want to give up on the whole goal setting or dream process. Today's charge to you is to never back down no matter what.

In 2014 I entered the Reading Challenge on Goodreads (www.goodreads.com), I wanted to read 100 books in the year but by the end of the year I succeeded in reading only 32 books. I didn't back down in 2015 I set a new goal and entered into the 100 book challenge and eventually read about 59 books in the whole year, while I did not hit my target, I am grateful for the level of progress, that is about 84 percent progress.
So this year 2016 I am excited to get into another Reading challenge to read 100 books for the year.

I also had plans to publish and launch my first book in the year 2015, while I did not achieve all of this, but I measured a level of progress and my newly published book is now set to be launched weeks from now.

No matter waht your goals are, do not back down pick them up again and go achieve greatness!

A friend shared a great piece  and I will share with you " It's been a great 2015 regardless of what you went through.

I am convinced that you weren't who and what you used to be.

2016 is just about 33 hours to go when we will all welcome a New Year.

Remember, There is really nothing called a NEW YEAR....every year is same number of days, weeks and months (except for a LEAP Year).

What then makes a NEW YEAR? Very simple....Its a NEW YOU!!!

A NEW YOU will determine and define a NEW YEAR.

" What is Your PDP for 2016?".

Your PDP is Your Personal Development Plans.

You need a Detailed, well-Structured, Articulated and Written Plan, which you must be loyal and committed to in 2016.

Your PDP Format must include:

1. Spiritual development (Moving from relationship to quality fellowship with Your God, Our Creator)

2. How many mind-enhancing books are you going to read (weekly, monthly or quarterly)

3. Professional and Career Advancement Seminars, Conferences or Workshops to attend. (Paid or Free)

4. Mentors and Coaches you must connect with, that will add great value to your life.

5. Relevant Skills to develop or sharpen to enhance your ability to SERVE and EARN.

6. Network or Associations to join that will serve as Leverages.

8. What Products, or Services will you be creating next year to multiply IMPACT and improve INCOME.

9. Negative Relationships or Friendships to sever from or cut off.

10. Wise and Intelligent Investments to be involved in next year.

11. Negative habits, attitudes and behaviours to deal with.

12. Positive habits, attitudes and behaviours that must be cultivated.

Birthday Post: Grateful Without Holding Back

Its my birthday. Thanks for gifts,calls and messages rolling in from all media. Permit me to share with you today without holding back.  Its a great day and I want to share it with two great people in my life. Two great women- My two Mums.
Like every Great man, my story isn't  complete until I share without holding back..and this part of my story I have held back for years from most people. For the keenly observant, I have been quite "silent" about my "maternity  connection" so much that I have allowed my mothers birthdays to pass without making much buzz about it on social media. Even though I celebrate them greatly always and in every way. No regrets, I just wanted to share it all until a later time perhaps in some of my new books..However this is a sneek-peek.
God has blessed me enough to bless me with many mothers and most especially my two mums; one who brought me to the world and the other who brought me up and I am grateful to them and love them deeply . In a great way we ( 3 of us) all have our birthdays on different dates in December, so I share this day with them and appreciate my two mothers Gladys Bedell and Adesola Olukemi Ayeni .

I am grateful for two decades and more of earthly sojourn,all that I have and that I am is by the grace of God. I am daily excited because God is set to do much more today and in the years ahead than He has done in the past years of my life.
I am grateful for the gifts of family and friends. I am also grateful in the course of the year to God for my wonderful friend and love of my life Jumoke M Lawal
As we step into the new year with faith and hope. I look forward to launching my first newly published book of quotes #BrightIdeas and to exciting new beginnings...

The Spirit of Christmas.

I have always wondered on what could be so special in a month. Why is December special? Is it because it is my month of birth, (I was born on the 29th day of December, exactly 4 days after Christmas in the early hours on one beautiful Monday morning) then, it would have just been a special month for only me. Is it because of the weather? There is something peculiar about December other than its weather which makes it different from every other month.

What is the secret of December, what makes it different and why is it in my opinion the best of all months? This became clearer to me recently.

Christmas, the anniversary of the birth of the greatest man who ever walked the earth-Jesus of Nazareth is celebrated every December,this is an indication to what makes December great. So what is the real secret..
The real reason behind the Spirit of December is the Spirit of Christmas, and the spirit of Christmas is the Nature of God. It is in God's nature to give. The joy, fun and felicitation in December and at Christmas is tied to one single phenomenon-Giving!
Giving is living and living is giving. There seems to be no such time that people give more to themselves around the world than in December and at Christmas. No matter people's faith, they tend to give more around this time. People give of their time, goodwill, financial resources and time more in December and as a result there is a joy which transcends into the atmosphere at this period.

Against backdrops of conflicting historical source of Christmas, this season remains peculiar and a wonderful time to give and reach out to other people around us and the world at large.

Do have wonderful celebrations of the season and a promising new year!
