A solid foundation in the idea academy cannot be laid without carefully setting the basis for the evolution of ideas.
An idea actually goes through different stages from conception to implementation.
Certain ideas in their initial states usually are nebulous,undefined and unrefined. It is therefore vital for them to be reformed , redefined or refined to the best form required for easy adaptation and implementation in line with the varying scope of needs or situations.
How do you shoot a moving target?

It is instrumental for the successful implementation of ideas to keep track of the evolution of an idea.
The Wikimedia English dictionary (Wiktionary), defines 'evolution' as ' a process of accumulating change' or 
"A progression of change, often branching and diversifying in the process"
While we can also sum up Merriam Webster dictionary's definitions of evolution as the unfolding, emission or growth of an idea.
Usually an idea will go from simple to a more complex or structured form, the goal is to arrive at a phenomenal idea.

Ideas evolve; every great idea, any idea that would be revolutionary will and must constantly evolve.

Ideas are seeds and must always obey some of the laws of the seed. Every great idea needs the right conditions of good soil, and time to germinate. Every idea will require the perfect environment to grow to its full form and to fully materialize.

The seed of ideas must be nurtured, they are like babies which must be nourished and be raised on the right diet.
Often times, ideas are aborted before they are given birth to, while indecision, fear, negative or impossibility thinking snuffs out life out of a million other ideas.

THE MULTIPLYING FACTOR OF GOD'S WORD

'But the word of God grew and multiplied.' Acts 12:24 King James Version (KJV)

God's Word can be likened to many things as seen in the Bible itself.
God's word is likened to light according to Psalms 119:105


The same word is likened to a double-edged sword in Hebrews 4 verse 12
It can be likened to Hammer, to Honey to Water among other wonderful analogies.
Also God's word is a seed according to Luke 8:11

Now the parable is this: The seed is the word of God. Luke8:11 KJV

However, this short piece is based on the capacity and the potency of the word of God as a seed to grow and multiply.

God's Word is a seed and as such it means it can and it will always exhibit all the attributes of a seed If it is seen as such.
As it is seen from our text today, Acts 12:24, we see that the word of God 'grew and multiplied'

1. Growth: God's word is a living seed and like any living seed it is even more powerful and has the capacity to grow. Under the right conditions, given faith, a good, humble and teachable heart it will grow and produce the right results. That was the first challenge in the parable of the sower. in Mark 4:1-19 , finding the right atmosphere for the word to grow. We need to consciously create that atmosphere.


2. Multiplication: When the word grows, it has the capacity to grow mightily and multiply this is the phase achieved in the parable of the sower in Mark 4:20. This is more vivid when we look at the miracle of a grain of maize that grows and produces over 500 grains on a single cob after it was sown, and it usually has more than a single cob on a stalk. God's word can grow,produce and multiply much more beyond our imaginations.

Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown.” Mark 4:20 (NIV)

The secret to achieving this level is to, "like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown.” Mark 4:20b
