It's a super Sunday today. And a day set aside for us believers- Christians to go to church and fellowship. And today being the first Sunday of the month I am led by the Holy Spirit to share something peculiar.It would certainly be remiss of me to do otherwise.
Thank God for an opportunity to write on the journey series. So we understand all the journey entails.
Life is a journey.Our entire life is a journey on its own. A journey from birth to the grave. Once a child is born, she begins to go through different stages, the crawling, teething,the walking until she becomes a teenager and then into adolescence and adulthood and the old age.
Even after the grave another journey continues - which is the journey to eternity. And nothing makes a journey thrilling as having a companion, a guide, a teacher, a comforter and a protector along's life's challenging journey. Jesus wants to be these and many more to you f, if only you make the choice today. What determines not necessarily the smoothness but the overall experience and the final destination of a man's journey, is the choice of the companion.(we ain't doing a marriage talk today...)
The whole Bible is about the journey. The journey of heroes, or ordinary men,their success or failure,their strengths and weaknesses; their choices and the consequences of such choices. It is the his story and prophecy of the world's journey from creation and to the imminent end of times.
All through the book is the invitation to man to live a higher life, God's proposal of a loving Fatherhood with mankind made real and sealed through his son Jesus' Christ and only your acceptance of the offer seals the deal.
Do not go through life's journey alone. You need a stronger partnership in the Lord Jesus Christ, God has gone ahead of us on this journey and he knows what lies ahead. Subscribe to His companionship today by saying a word of prayer with him.
Heavenly Father, I acknowledge your love and your grace to me as a sinner, expressed to me through the death and resurrection of your only son Jesus Christ. Lord Jesus forgive me and cleanse me with your blood. Write my name in the book of life and fill me with your Holy Spirit right now. Thank you Lord for becoming my Lord and Savior. Amen!
