Poetic: Waiting For My Love

ICE Breaker

It's so nice to be back again...Yeah I believe I have broken a few bloggers code for some weeks now by creating much space... but I can always say my heart still goes out to my numerous readers around the world and our growing viewers on my youtube channel wwww.youtube.com/emmandus and now I can say I am on an unending journey to keep you inspired on our road to greatness by God's special grace.

Today's piece a poem I composed for my sweet heart some months ago and I crave her indulgence to share it with you all! I love you all!

Waiting For My Love

She crossed the hills

She crossed the mountains

She flew over the blue skies&balmy weather

My Love has journeyed far away

She passed through lands

She passed through fields

She flew over huts and hamlets

My Love's gone to heed the Nation's call

The rain beats my dark skin

I cast my gaze on the lonely tracks

Looking out for her beautiful smile

Beyond the endless roads

Let the tweeting birds

Take my lovely notes

And sing a beautiful song to my only Queen

Till our eyes are four

IT'S ALL ABOUT A JOURNEY...

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” ― Lao Tzu

ANTHOLOGY?

As I sit where I am sitting… doing what I do… And the sense of relief that brings… much about the same way, I feel relieved and pleasured as the writer in me is unchained once again and even at last…I had to write this again for you my reader and all my readers. This is not an anthology or anecdotes or any high sounding literary piece. You might call it a diary, a recalibration of thoughts or my compass on an inspiring mission. This is from me to you.

SENSE OF DIRECTION

IT was a lovely Sunday morning and I set out to go to work. The weather was good. A thousand thoughts raced through my mind some which I will never write and others which will just escape like vapor into the cool weather of the day .My writing hands itch yet I am on a self inflicted writing-fast. Alas! It is a self borne blindness to all things but one singular project which demands a full attention, talking of Focus… I headed for the motor park!

Here was I at the park and needing to get from where I was to my destination as soon as possible. So I headed for the regular long BRT bus, which was however empty and will certainly take like another one hour to get full of passengers, although cheaper, but it wasn’t an option on a day like this.

So I changed my mind and headed for the regular public buses, though not as comfortable, but It was smaller but ready in minutes to get me to my destination as opposed to the the other one which might take hours.

However, just before getting to that I found a car, small nice and even ready to leave in seconds but it was heading for a totally different direction.

Then I asked myself again? Why can’t I go with this car even though it's leaving in seconds from now? It’s all about destination…And this was a spring board for my reflections and hence has brought me to this conclusions , I am obliged to share with you, my lovely reader- YOU…

It’s all about JOURNEY, SENSE OF DIRECTION AND DESTINATION!

WELCOME TO SEPTEMBER

Beloved Champion!

It's a great day! A wonderful month! I am full of joy;inexplainable euphoria because I am so glad to be alive on this wonderful day and I am sure you are too,because only the living can praise the LORD! It's a new month! and I am glad you made it! We made it! All thanks to God for his grace, so i welcome you to the month of fruitfulness, plenty and speedy delivery of God's good bounties made available on the platform of his grace!

UNBELIEVABLE !...YET VERY TRUE !

It's so unbelievable that I have not written or rather that I haven't published a post for many weeks now ( in fact, it's exactly 4 weeks... a month!) Well, it's all for a personal project anyways...something somehow deliberate but necessary *apologetic mood*

Sincerely I cannot believe I was away for long ... though as much as I was there, I was always here even though in mind...

I cannot believe I haven't shared inspiring contents in a very long time, as uneasy and restless It was not to share...because it flows through me as a breathe and I felt like a fish out of the water.

It's unbelievable.. yet it is very true!

However, I am glad to be back!

I am a believer and I believe I am here finally and it's so great and refreshing to be back! This is because it feels like home and I mean it's really home... I am at home with you my lovely reader and audience; I am helplessly in love with you! Yes, YOU!

Nice to be back and I am glad to have you here! and I love You so dearly!

REASONS WHY PEOPLE MOVE ON IN LIFE

We have explored different aspects of this topic. Right from the prelude, to the positive lessons in positive change. So today I want us to delve into the major reasons why People decide to move on and eventually make the move and I found these the tops. There are mostly diverse motives to any specific action. People move on due to different reasons and It is one of life’s great lessons to understand why they do.

1. People move on as they grow up: I will illustrate this by a short story; There was once a worm-like creature, Laba lived its whole life on the stem of a tree in a shady garden as long as it could remember after been hatched from the egg. However, one balmy day, as sunny as every other day, Laba felt a sudden sharp pain… a feeling he had never had before, he had heard it though, and also seen it happen to his elder brother before…

In the twinkle of an eye there had been a change in colour, he could see beautiful new ‘things’ emerge from around him… ”sure ! It must be wings” he said. he flapped it, made a failed attempt, made two more failed attempts and took off! Now he found himself in the air – ‘wow!’ now he could fly, he perched on the beautiful flowers, no more was he grounded to the stem, now he could suck all it wants of the nectars of each flower.

he has heard it before, now he experienced it! Labalaba is now a BUTTERFLY! he has moved on!

2. People move on When the situation becomes unbearable: People move on when they can no longer put up with their experience of the present environment, when the situation in which they found themselves is unpalatable, unbearable and some times unfavourable, their survival instinct is geared on and they are forced to move on. They seek a better place, a favourable condition , a greener pasture…‘the promised land’

3. People Move on when there is need for expansion: This is also a corollary of the other two reasons…It stems from the other two reasons, the direct result of growth is expansion and an after -math of the inconvenience caused by limitation in space is gravitating towards a more spacious and commodious environment.

4. People Move on when they see a new horizon: Anyone who has been grounded in a place or in a school of thought and suddenly has his horizon widened and his frontiers expanded will move! Seeing a new horizon makes you push every known limit, you leave the old and conventional behind and you reach for excitingly new and endless possibilities. When people see the new horizon, they escape like a bird from the fowlers’ nest.

5. People Move on When they are Caught up: This happens when people are enraptured by a higher influence a positive flow of energy an overtone beyond a supersonic order of vibration an unexplainable acoustics that makes human reasoning fruitless something beyond the scope of the writer or the writing… :)
