A STORY ON LISTENING TO GOD'S VOICE

I read this inspiring story by an anonymous  author and I believe there is a lesson or two to be learnt if shared;

A young man attended a Wednesday Night Bible Study and the Pastor preached about listening to GOD and
obeying the Lord's voice. The young man couldn't help but ponder, 'Does GOD still speak to people?'
After service, he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and they discussed the message.
They talked about how GOD had led them in different ways.
It was about ten o'clock when the young man started driving home, and he prayed; ' GOD...If you still speak to people, speak to me. I will listen. I will do my best to obey.' As he drove down the main street of his town, he had the strangest thought to stop and buy a gallon of milk. He shook his head and said out loud, GOD is that you?' He didn't get a reply and started on toward home. But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk came. The young man thought about Samuel and how he didn't recognize the voice of GOD, and how little Samuel ran to Eli. 'Okay, GOD, in case that is you, I will buy the milk.' It didn't seem like too hard a test of obedience. He could always use the milk. He stopped and purchased the gallon of milk and started off toward home.
As he passed Seventh Street , he again felt the urge, 'Turn Down that street.' This is crazy he thought, and drove on past the intersection. Again, he felt that he should turn down Seventh Street .At the next intersection; he turned back and headed down Seventh. Half jokingly, he said out loud,’ Okay, GOD I will.' He drove several blocks, when suddenly, he felt like he should stop. He pulled over to the curb and looked around. He was in a semi- commercial area of town. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst of neighborhoods either. The businesses were closed and most of the houses looked dark like the people were already in bed. Again, he sensed something, 'Go and give the milk to the people in the house across the street' The young man looked at the house. It was dark and it looked like the people were either gone or they were already asleep. He started to open the door and then sat back in the car seat 'Lord, this is insane. Those people are asleep and if I wake them up, they are going to be mad and I will look stupid.' Again, he felt like he should go and give the milk. Finally, he opened the door, 'Okay GOD, if this is you, I will go to the door and I will give them the milk. If you want me to look like a crazy person, okay. I want to be obedient. I guess that will count for something, but if they don't answer right away, I am out of here.' He walked across the street and rang the bell. He could hear some noise inside. A man's voice yelled out, 'Who is it? What do you want?’ Then the door opened before the young man could get away. The man was standing there in his jeans and T-shirt. He looked like he just got out of bed. He had a strange look on his face and he didn't seem too happy to have some stranger standing on his doorstep. 'What is it?' The young man thrust out the gallon of milk, Here, I brought this to you.' The man took the milk and rushed down a hallway. Then from down the hall came a woman carrying the milk towards the kitchen. The man was following her holding a baby. The baby was crying. The man had tears streaming down his face. The man began speaking and half crying, 'We were just praying. We had some big bills this month and we ran out of money. We didn't have any milk for our baby. I was just praying and asking God to show me how to get some milk.
His wife in the kitchen yelled out, 'I ask him to send an Angel with some. Are you an angel?
The young man reached into his wallet and pulled out all the money he had on him and put in the man’s hand. He turned and walked back to his car and the tears were streaming down his face. He knew that GOD still answers prayers.

SPIRITUALITY POST: WEALTH TRANSFER

WEALTH TRANSFER
Memorise: A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just. Proverbs 13:22
Read: Proverbs 13:21-22, 21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.

22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
Bible in one year: Numbers 26-27, 2nd Corinthians 13
MESSAGE
Because God owns everything on earth, He can give a person power to get wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). Not only does He give power to get wealth, He also transfers wealth from one person to another. God can transfers wealth from the enemies His children, to those who will serve Him. He can equally transfer wealth from His children whom He has blessed, who refuse to utilise their blessings for His purpose, to those believers who will use it to glorify Him. If you are stingy, you are not like your Heavenly Father. When I was young, there was a man I knew who was extremely wealthy but extremely miserly. He was so stingy that he could not even trust his wife with housekeeping allowance. When she wanted to go to the market, he would go with her. After she bargained for meat, he would pay. When she had prepared the soup or stew, he would take a portion for himself and keep it in his bedroom. Whenever he wanted to eat, they would have to come and take the pot of soup or stew from him, and while it was being warmed up, he would stand by and watch. He never took his money to the bank. He had one huge room where his money was kept. By the time he died, his children searched everywhere for the key to that room, bit they could not find it, then the eldest son reasoned that since their father was so miserly, it was possible that he went as far as swallowing the key, so he suggested they turn his corpse upside down and hit his back. As they did so, the key dropped.
“A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.” Proverbs 13:22
God looking for those who will serve Him with whatever He gives to them. God is looking for those who will not give any excuse when the Owner of their wealth needs it for His purpose. Can He entrust you with more of His resources? How have you been giving to the work of God? To what extent have you been cooperating with the King of kings? If you have been blessed, but you cannot spend freely for the kingdom, do remember that the same way God brought the money in, He can take it out. May you not lose your wealth to others in Jesus’ Name. Do everything possible to justify why you should remain a custodian to God’s blessings.
Key Point
When you faithfully cooperate with God in meeting the needs of His kingdom, He will enlarge your capacity, and make you a greater treasurer of His resources.

Top 30 Millionaire Habits for Incredible Success

It's a great day and these today, I like to share a wonderful piece from Huffpost written by Timothy Sykes.

Top 30 Millionaire Habits for Incredible Success

Timothy Sykes Entrepreneur, Leading Penny Stock Expert, Trader and Advocate

Habits are extremely powerful. Think about the most basic things you do every day, such as your morning and nighttime routines. These aren't even things you think about, you just do them because you've always done them. If you want to become a millionaire, you're going to have to program some new habits. Below are the top 30 habits that my millionaire students have that have led them to have incredible success.

1. Carefully Track Spending

It doesn't matter whether you make $200,000 or $25,000 -- if you don't keep track of how you spend, sooner or later you'll find yourself in the red.

2. Don't Trust Financial Media All The Time

Between all of the different financial news outlets and people promoting different products, you'll be pulled in a thousand different directions. It's important to stay informed, but remember that the media loves to sensationalize. Don't think that everything is smooth sailing or that the world is ending just because the media says so.

3. Pay Attention to Your Employee Benefits

Perhaps entrepreneurship isn't for you, or maybe you're just not ready to strike out on your own yet. Whatever the case, if you're working for someone else you should make sure you get employee benefits. Particularly, make sure to take advantage of your company's 401(k) plan.

4. Have Self-Control When it Comes to Spending

Don't buy every little thing you want, otherwise you'll fritter all your money away.

5. Create Clear Financial Goals

One thing is certain -- if you don't create any goals around where you want to get to financially, you won't see any real progress.

6. Watch Out for Recurring Expenses

Subscription fees of all kinds will sneak up on you. Don't view these things in isolation -- $19.99/month may not seem like a lot, but if you have ten different subscriptions you're going to pay the price -- literally.

7. Invest, Invest, Invest

You definitely need to make careful investments, but if you're not making efforts to grow your money, you won't see the results you're looking for.

8. Don't Forget to Have Fun

While you should definitely be careful on what you spend, make sure you have fun every once in awhile, otherwise you'll be miserable.

9. Wake up Early

I've talked about the benefits of waking up early before, that's because it works. Getting an early start helps you start each day with a clear mind and time to plan your day.

10. Read Something Every Day

There's a lot of knowledge out there, and every day you spend not reading is a day you're sacrificing learning something valuable. Make sure you read up on all sorts of different topics to keep yourself well rounded.

11. Get Outside Your Comfort Zone

The real difference between millionaires and everyone else is that millionaires repeatedly do the things that are uncomfortable. Whether it's working longer hours, networking, etc. Make sure you routinely step outside of and expand your comfort zone.

12. Take Some Time for Yourself Every Week

Working hard is the most obvious part of becoming a millionaire, but rest is the less obvious -- but equally necessary -- part of the equation. Every weekend, make sure to take some time (I recommend at least 2 hours) for yourself to do whatever you want.

13. Look for Opportunities to Work During Downtime

Downtime is different from free time. I don't mean to contradict what I just said about taking some time for yourself. I'm talking about when you're waiting to board a plane, waiting at the doctor's office, working out, etc. Find ways to get work done or to be productive in some manner. Five minutes here and there really adds up after awhile.

14. Never, Ever Stop Learning

In the same vein as reading every day, you need to make sure that you are always in "learning mode." The moment you turn your brain off and aren't receptive to learning anymore is the moment you resign yourself to not becoming rich. This is the reason I have over 500 educational videos on my YouTube channel, so people can go ahead and educate themselves for free.

15. Stay Motivated

A surprising number of people have a motivation problem. People always say they want to be successful, but few are willing to actually put that into action every single day. Make sure you're one of the few who stay motivated to put in the daily work.

16. Save, or Pay Yourself First

A surprising number of people have a hard time saving. Don't think of it as depriving yourself of spending money, think of it as paying yourself first. If you don't save, you won't be able to accumulate wealth.

17. Don't "Earn to Spend"

Don't accumulate money just to spend; accumulate it in order to invest and grow.

18. Take Calculated Risks

In general, the rewards you get in life are directly proportional the risks you take. However, make sure you calculate the risks and are smart about it.

19. Be Generous

Ironically, stinginess will most likely prevent you from ever being rich, because it will be a lot harder for you to create good connections and lasting relationships.

20. Have an Emergency Fund

Life is unpredictable, so make sure you have a rainy day fund to take care of any sudden fires that may pop up.

21. When Others Are Panicking, Invest

If the media has gone crazy and it looks like the financial sky is falling, there's bound to be a good moneymaking opportunity. Keep your eyes peeled for such situations.

22. Meditate

Taking the time to meditate, clear your mind, and focus on what you really want in life is essential for any millionaire.

23. Keep a Healthy Mind, Body and Spirit

You need to make health a priority so you can focus on key moneymaking activities.

24. Do Not Procrastinate

Going along with stepping outside of your comfort zone and doing things you don't want to do, millionaires cannot afford to procrastinate. Whatever you need to do, make sure you get it done on time.

25. Forge Lasting Relationships

I promise you that no millionaire has gotten there on their own. You need to forge long-lasting relationships if you want to make it into the millionaire's club.

26. Realize That You're In Control of Your Destiny

A lot of people just let life happen to them; millionaires take control of life and realize that they create their own destinies.

27. Keep Thinking About Your Big Picture

Why do you want to be rich? What's your "big picture" goal in life? You have to keep this in mind, otherwise it will be very easy to lose your way when things get though.

28. Give More Than You Get

No matter what you do, you have to deliver unparalleled service. If you do this, you will earn the respect of those you work with and your fellow colleagues.

29. Embrace Failure

Many people are afraid of failure and let it hold them back. Millionaires embrace failure because they know that each misstep is a learning experience that will bring them closer to their goal.

30. Take Initiative

Don't sit around waiting for opportunities to spring at you. You have to go looking for them.

Keep these habits in mind and you will have an enormous head start on your way to becoming a millionaire and achieving your life goals.

What Do You See?

"The important thing is to learn a lesson every time you lose."

-- John McEnroe, tennis champion

Eyes that look are many; eyes that see are few...choose to see Success always..In every life experience there are two possible outcomes Feedbacks and Success.
Failing doesn't make you a failure, rather it is an event that necessitates a change of approach and strategy. Failure is  a feedback that wasn't just successful...a lesson on how to do it better..
Success is already your nature; you only need to activate it through a well deployed strategy.
You haven't failed until you quit. A glass is either half-empty or half-full. Never ever give up. Choose to see possibilities always and you will succeed.

Principle of Personal Responsibility

Nothing works except it's worked upon; Nothing happens except we make it happen, we must always be guided by the principle of personal responsibility " If its to be; it's up to me"
When everyone takes responsibility for what he can do; then we all can achieve much more together.
Remember the funny story of how Someone Somewhere forgot to do what Everybody was supposed to do, simply because Nobody did what Somebody ought to have done and because of that Nothing was done.
Benjamin Franklin said "A little neglect may breed mischief; for want of a nail the shoe was lost for want of a shoe the horse was lost; for want of a  horse the rider was lost and for want of a rider the battle was lost.
Do today what only you can do and we all will be better for it.

Prepare for Persecution

Prepare for Persecution

Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

– 2 Timothy 3:12

Did you catch that? He said all who live godly lives are going to suffer persecution. Not just the super-saints, not just the missionaries in hostile lands—but all.

If you're going to live for God, you're going to run into persecution somewhere along the line. The devil's going to make sure of it!

Now I'm not saying that to frighten you or to depress you. I'm saying it because I want you to be prepared.

When you're wise to the strategies of the devil, it's harder for him to use them successfully on you to confuse you and get you off track.

Second Corinthians 10:4 says, "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds." So stay armed and ready for Satan's attack. Then, whenever and however it comes, it won't bring your life to a halt or even slow you down.

That's especially important right now because we're living in the last days. The devil's time is drawing short. He is desperate. He is going to do everything he can to stop the Church. But Jesus said the gates of hell would not prevail against His Church!

Remember the more we grow to be like Jesus and the more God's glory is revealed through our lives, the bigger threat we are to Satan's kingdom. Jesus said, "Rejoice and be glad at such a time, and exult and leap for joy, for behold, your reward is rich and great and strong and intense and abundant in heaven" (Luke 6:23, The Amplified Bible).

So, when persecution comes your way, and you know it will, rejoice and be glad. Take the Jesus cure and begin to leap and jump and praise God! There is no way persecution will hurt you if you do that. I've tried it and it works.

Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

Today I want to begin a journey that I have postponed; embarking on the millionaire series journey. I have always love the term 'millionaire' from a child. In fact, I once remember a simple story, as told by a teacher;  A teacher entered the class and asked his pupils  what they would love to be in the future.. Different pupils said different things from Engineer to Lawyer, Doctor  et . but when it came to the turn of  another boy- He voiced out " I want to be a millionaire!" and everyone laughed.

If you really want to be a Millionaire or a billionaire. it's nice being here, please follow me on this journey as we  share  more  value to know more and to do more and become more.

I BELIEVE IN THE GREATNESS OF NIGERIA

It's a great  day for us today in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it is independence day and our beloved country Nigeria is 55 years old.
Nigeria is
a very great country, blessed with a population of over 170 million people, wonderful landmass with the world's rarest flora and fauna and so great natural resources.
Beyond its vast resources is its unequalled human and intellectual resources, a large part of which still remains untapped, unexplored and underutilized.
No nation exists without its challenges but Nigeria's challenges appear rather peculiar and only almost unique in its self, but it all rises and falls on the hinges of leadership, value reorientation and self governance.
I will always maintain the view point that, the greatness of any nation is tied closely to the greatness of its citizens. Just as pan-africanism; the solidarity of Africans within and in the diaspora to build the Africa of our dreams will open up a whole new world for us all; we  all are the solution to the challenges of Nigeria. A better world emerges when Nigeria  rises to its true greatness. I believe in the greatness of Nigeria, Africa and the world at large. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

To our National Greatness,
