THANKFUL FOR REST

Today I am grateful for rest. Rest affords us the ability to renew our strength.
It is God's antidote against stress.
Science has researched and proved the need for us to constantly rest for enough hours daily, as it helps the body regain it's strength and vitality.
Rest has also been found to help the brain in problem solving modes.

i am grateful for the grae to rest.

THANKFUL FOR WISDOM
While faith is the source of all things. Wisdom is the principal thing. While knowledge is crucial to any endeavour, Wisdom simply is the correct application of knowledge, wisdom is essential for building a successful life, men of great purpose reign by wisdom. I am grateful for wisdom.

As essential as wisdom is, it can be qotten or acquired- I am a student in the school of Wisdom and have discovered by God's grace 20 ways wisdom is acquired- this is a lesson for another post. My favourite *Book emphasizes the need to "Get wisdom" and the great benefits associated with it. I am thankful for Wisdom because it is the key that unlocks the doors of Treasures and Riches.
Once again I am all the more excited ad thankful by the fact that I can become wise by association. I can also choose to ask God for wisdom- this was the source of the popular and indispensable wealth and wisdom of Solomon...It remains unbeaten in the history of man. I am grateful for this great gift called wisdom.
Wisdom is a great treasure to be searched for, yet I am grateful we are not left without a map, according to my Favourite Book "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom" *
Wisdom is key to living life to the fullest because it is the true foundation of Health and Wealth.

THANK GOD FOR LESSON FROM A TRIAL!

Different times make up our lives, they are usually marked by different occurrences in life.while some are pleasant, it is not impossible that we also have some unpleasant experiences and perhaps a trying time. We should also not lose sight of gratitude in times like these, gratitude is the one size-fits-all key for all occasions, even
one such as this.

Times of great difficulty are not always pleasant... but we need to thank God for them , and most importantly the lessons we learn form such trying times.
Such occurrences at times help us grow wings, to fly above all odds.
No matter what you do and where you are and who you are, there comes a time in the history of any man, that an event occurs , that shakes the fundamentals of every thing you believe in.
Stand up to it. Embrace the lessons it brings and thank God for them all.

I have been in a couple of trying periods, I thank God for the lessons they bring along with them.

Shelter is a vital need in the life of any man.The basic needs of man are food, clothing and shelter.I bless God for shelter
It can only be best imagined what life would feel or be like without a roof on one's head, no place to lay after the day's long work,to be protected from the vagaries and harshness of weather,Shelter is important. I thank God for shelter.

The roof over my head, a room to sleep, and most importantly a bed space to sit or to sleep, these amenities,though basic, are important and I am indeed thankful and grateful.

Another level in having shelter is the ability to own one and to be able to help others have one. I look forward to this huge blessing and responsibility as well in all its dimension and I am grateful for the unfolding opportunities and possibilities.

The privilege of owning a home, a private space, a property or even a bed space is a blessing, imagine the derelicts and homeless, and you can't be less than grateful for the wonderful gift of shelter!

GRATEFUL FOR BREATH

Day 23 0f 30 : I AM GRATEFUL FOR BREATH

I once played a game at the swimming pool. Myself and a group of guys went under water and we watched and waited while someone counted in seconds to see who amongst us could outlast others in holding his breath! I stayed down in the cool water of the pool, i remained calm, 'I have done this before' I thought! and I had even beaten a couple of friends at this game so I stayed 10 secs...15secs...20...30secs... and few more seconds afterwords...now my head was like dry and short of blood under the water, my heart was pounding at leap-speeds! i will stay for one more second i thoughts... and gosh!
I jerked up from my knee from under water, I rushed up and jumped out to the surface of the cold water, gasping for breath ...Then I knew I had to come out to really be alive. If you have ever held your breath for 1 minute or a few seconds, then you really can imagine what it means being without breath for 5, 10 or even 60 minutes! Indeed We are immensely indebted to God for breath. Today I appreciate God for Breath!

The breath of life is the rare string of life given to us by God.This is what makes living possible!It is the fuel that runs the engine when it's out the engine is out and man is dead! It is worth more than billions of dollars! I am grateful to have enjoyed this right from childhood and to continue to enjoy it.

Breath range from the oxygen we breathe in, which mixes with the blood in our body and supplies every organ with life, health and vitality. According to research the brain can survive for up to about six minutes after the heart stops however when the brain loses all its oxygen something terrible happens !- death becomes imminent..

God formed Man out of dirt from the ground and blew into his nostrils the breath of life. The Man came alive—a living soul!

It is the breath of God in us that makes us ALIVE! this is deep and words will fail me in appreciation of God's goodness of giving me the right amount of air- this breath every second for 365 days every year!

I am so grateful for breath.
