Don't Think Like the World
(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds); Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.
– 2 Corinthians 10:4-5

If you think like the world thinks, eventually you will act like the world acts. Unrestrained thoughts produce unrestrained actions. So control your thoughts by bringing them into obedience to the Scriptures.
Program your mind with the Word of God. The Word is spirit and it is life. When your mind is totally saturated with the Word of God, your will becomes strong to exercise authority to overcome every ungodly thought and evil habit.
Don't let Satan deceive you into sacrificing the glory of God in your life for a few moments of self-indulgence and sin. Restrain your thought life. Meditate the Word instead of selfish, carnal thoughts. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith.

It's a great day!
As we begin the second half of the wonderful year 2015, I welcome you to a brand new day and an amazingly new month, may it be replete with all great things you ever imagined.
This is where the rubber hits the road, the place where we need to inject more energy, passion and action into our goals in every sphere of our lives. The key to a great year is a great month and the key to a great month is  living a great day.
If you are not satisfied with your results so far, change your strategy.

Put up an attitude of gratitude and make it happen because everything is about to change once we start the change NOW.
Pay more attention to your health, surround yourself with people who inspire you to be the best; Always seek to see and create opportunities; Ask when you need to;
Learn! Work! Relax! Love! Volunteer! Be grateful and hopeful in all and keep moving on! I wish you a happy new month and an amazing second half of the year.

ENJOY THE JOURNEY

Our journey to greatness isn't always with a sudden leap. We always have to go through the depths, the curves and the bends. A straight line usually is the shortest distance between two points, yet not many straight lines exist between you and your goals, but the destination predetermined always helps our resolve to forge ahead and to keep moving.
In the same way, you might possibly drive or walk through some sinking sand where all you got to do is to keep moving and never stop forging ahead. If you choose your path carefully; then you should choose to enjoy the journey.
A journey is a continuum in time, we explored some aspects of this in the journey series.
At some points in a journey, you possibly would get into a valley or a storm but be persuaded the valley usually is a transition phase between another level ground or the mountain top. One lesson in the storm is to know that God is always in the storm; He is not the storm nor is He with the storm but He is with you in the Storm.
You can either endure or enjoy a journey, the main tone of my voice today is to just enjoy the journey.

IT'S IN YOU!

19th century American  Poet,lecturer and philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson said  “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us."

It's in you. The past the present and the future is in you. All that you were, all that you currently are and all you can ever dream of becoming is all within you.
The fading echoes of the past; the thrilling inspirations of this  present time which you now experience and the aspirations and hopes of the future are right within you.

The gifts, talents that you need are already within you. The opportunities  you seek are right within you.
I will draw some wisdom from a story told by Russell H. Conwell in his famous book Acres of Diamond. Hali Afed stayed on a very big farm in Philadelphia, it was a farm with lush fields, fresh green vegetations and a little crystal clear stream flowing in his backyard. Hali Afhed bustling with health and vitality was happy and contented. He was happy because he was contented and he was contented because he was happy. But one day Ali's close friend came and told him about some rocks found in a distant land; it was a rock hard and sparkling, a piece of which could make any man rich for life. so Ali thought so much about this rocks with the fact that he needed to go and get one for himself, that night Ali went to bed a poor and discontented man; he was poor because he was discontented and discontented because he was poor.
Long story short. Ali sold his big farm and travelled far not minding the harsh weather in pursuit of  this shiny precious rocks called diamonds. He spent all. He found nothing.As he lay sick, miserable and expecting nothing but death under the dark skies on a cold night, he heard the travellers discuss what happened at Ali Hafed's farm in Philadelphia,One sunny morning the servant of the new owner brought in some shiny looking rocks they found while the donkeys drank from the stream. And this new owner had put them on his study table until a priest who lived nearby saw them and spotted them for what they were the- rarest diamonds anyone can find,
And this back yard became the biggest diamond mines in the States. This story illustrates the fact that All you have always wanted is within you.
The very substance through which all things are made is in you.
You have probably heard of the 7 wonders of the world but I am sure you might not know until now that you, my dear friend; that you, yes you are  the eight wonder of the world. Because the vast shining  potentials and talents in the world, the books not yet written, the songs uncomposed,the greatest speech yet to be delivered, the world's newest invention the greatest diamond Mines in the world lies right within you. There is greatness within you, and I celebrate your greatness today!
