When you have a dream, it is very important you stay true to the dream, because many times, a lot of forces militate against the achievement of your set goal. Winds, Oceans, Strong winds and Rivers...Through it at all we need to be tough and strong until we reach the finish line. You need to be bold and fight hard at everything that would try to stop you from achieving your dreams.
Stand up and Make it happen, you dreams are God's gifts to you and you owe your world all it takes to make it happen!

ENJOY THE JOURNEY

Our journey to greatness isn't always with a sudden leap. We always have to go through the depths, the curves and the bends. A straight line usually is the shortest distance between two points, yet not many straight lines exist between you and your goals, but the destination predetermined always helps our resolve to forge ahead and to keep moving.
In the same way, you might possibly drive or walk through some sinking sand where all you got to do is to keep moving and never stop forging ahead. If you choose your path carefully; then you should choose to enjoy the journey.
A journey is a continuum in time, we explored some aspects of this in the journey series.
At some points in a journey, you possibly would get into a valley or a storm but be persuaded the valley usually is a transition phase between another level ground or the mountain top. One lesson in the storm is to know that God is always in the storm; He is not the storm nor is He with the storm but He is with you in the Storm.
You can either endure or enjoy a journey, the main tone of my voice today is to just enjoy the journey.

GOD IS AT WORK!

This post is inspired by a beautiful song rendered by the choir- 'God is Working'. I sang and also danced to this song while in church on Sunday.

I believe in God! I have no regrets about it; it's my faith. This is the substance that makes us conquer fate- Our Faith in God.
No matter how bold our goals; or how high the odds; God is always at work.
When we keep doing our part; we should also believe God is working behind the scenes, though we might not see him.
God is working He's still working in our lives, though we often don't know just how; but He is still working in our lives. #GodisAble

THE GOAL CHASERS
It's a great day! It's another wonderful Monday as we move to the end of the month of December. My write up today, is a challenge to chase your goals.
If you try once and don't succeed, try, try and ty again. Good things some people say come to those who wait; Great things, I believe come to those who dare to Go for it.
Someone opined that the reason the bull dog's nose is slanted backwards is so that it can keep on running without letting go or stopping to catch it's breath.
I attended a friend's event recently and I remember how persistent he was about hosting this event years away even when the conditions were not right and just days ago it happened for him. If you want it so much; don't stop ,go for it.
I can share a personal account for which I am still grateful. Three years ago, I had a strong desire to execute a project, I prepared, prayed and planned every year but It just didn't work out; I kept believing every year, worked and prayed more while changing my approach to its implementation and couple of days ago something positive happened as regards the project-it worked!.
You have never failed until you stop trying, because you are tired of failing. You need not only set big, bold and audacious goals but you also need to be courageous to go after them and make them happen.
Your creed will be, If I fall, I will rise again; I will keep at it until I succeed because SUCCESS is my reality.

GO FOR DIAMONDS!....PUSH THROUGH THE PRESSURE

Diamond is a product of intense pressure and heat.
Push through the pressure do not fall nor falter, the pain is usually necessary at the core. Pain usually resonates with discipline, because it forces us to develop essential habits that are never found within the confines of our comfort zone.
The pressure is necessary to push us into the next level of performance breaking off every form of conceivable limits.
We think faster and better under pressure, we come up with the ideas we never thought we had; if only we do not give in to the thought of quitting.

Let's take a que from Diamond. It is formed at a very great depths below the grounds – the earth’s mantle. Diamond and coal are both carbon but diamond is carbon that has gone through intense heat and pressure. Many people get broken by life because they are too rigid to bend and others do not make it because of loss of focus. The rule here is BALANCE.
Pain is usually the seed of gain, it usually leads to the discontentment that births the necessity to move and flow into your next level of being. Some periods of growth are heralded by certain degree of pain, the pain is the passing away of a temporary limit, change most times wouldn't come without some rupturing some form of breaking of a fixed and old set of paradigm.

These are one of such times when the pressure creates the pleasure you have always wanted; the gain after the pain is always worthwhile, ask the Mom of a beautiful new born child.
The end product of pressure is usually a glittering, shiny gem, which turns out to be the hardest substance in the world!
Study the story of Diamond, and you will see that this is very true.
Push through the pressure and the pain, the pain is a call to raise your game for an unusual gain that awaits you on the other side.

Keep moving! Keep pushing you will eventually rise and shine. Go for Diamonds.

STAY BACK IN THE GAME

Be true to the game, because the game will be true to you. If you try to shortcut the game, then the game will shortcut you. If you put forth the effort, good things will be bestowed upon you. That's truly about the game, and in some ways that's about life too.

The idea for this article came when I set out one morning, trying to jog out to a Volunteer service group I am part of. I remembered how long it really was that I have been able to jog regularly as I should. So I thought how needful it is to stay in the game.

Two weeks ago, I woke up with a resolve to stick back to my exercise routine and do a minimum of 30- 50 push ups each morning, as i usually do before I stopped.

I wasn't really putting into perspective what that was going to do to me at first (Well, I am not trying to lose any weight here.. :) ), but I knew it was good and Boy! I did feel great after 50 push ups... Talking about staying back in the game!
Often times, like I did, we set goals in different areas of life, perhaps it could be a daily routine of writing e.g my present 30-day writing challenge, or saving and budgeting regularly, it could be in the area of relationship, eating habits or even spirituality, and when we lose or fail to keep track, we cry, or blame ourselves and feel bad.
What follows after this is that we give-up, drop dead on the tracks and do nothing again about our goals because we failed once. This shouldn't be. Never -ever give up.


The vital thing isn't how often you fail in reaching your set goals, quitting may be  easier in the short term, but it doesn't get you anywhere, staying in the ring till you win is it! Spring up! Stay up and stay right in the game of reaching out for God's best for you.


Today we are going to stay back in the game! The game of continuously churning out our best results, daily becoming our best self. No matter how far down we have been beaten, we are going to acknowledge  GOD's Spirit WITH  US and IN US, we will jerk back to life, see the rays of light and Stay back in the game of life until we win!
