ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS

It's a great day ! The truth is no man  rises above the level of his own thinking. When we ask certain questions, we channel our thoughts in certain directions.
When we ask the right questions we channel our lives along the right directions especially when followed with appropriate actions. I will explore this in details this week.
Asking the right questions provide more clarity, sharpens your focus and gives your subconscious mind a level of information to provide needed feedback on.
Do you have goals that make you lose your appetite or audacious dreams that keep you up in the middle of the night? Now is the time to start asking the right  questions about them, in the next article we will explore more techniques as regards this process.

10 LESSONS FROM THE LIFE OF AN UNCOMMON MENTOR (NAOMI).

SPIRITUALITY: 35 GREATNESS KEYS FROM THE BOOK OF RUTH

10 LESSONS FROM THE LIFE OF AN UNCOMMON MENTOR (NAOMI)

A Mentor is a life-coach, a life-line and a gateway to beautiful and uncommon possibilities. Naomi was an uncommon mentor.*

1. When you set out without God in the picture, you will end up looking for God in the picture and usually in the not too distant future.1*

2. Naomi had a strong resolve to return to God and to her own country and people. An uncommon mentor always understands the value of her own people; when the stakes are down, you are left with your own people.

3. Naomi had an uncommon faith in crisis time. An uncommon mentor has an uncommon faith in the time of crisis.

4. She was a woman of prayer and prayed with love for her daughter in laws. Great prayers always flow from a heart of love. Love wins, because God is Love. 4*

5. Naomi got overwhelmed enough to want to change her name in an instant of pain. Never change your name, or stop believing in your dreams because of the present crisis in your life, the darkness will pass but your name or dreams will reflect the choices you have made.5*

6. There is always a renewal, restoration that comes with returning 6*

7. Naomi was able to see and willing to help her protégé- Ruth create a beautiful picture only her is capable of entering. An uncommon mentor creates and connects you with an unimaginably great future.7*

8. Naomi taught Ruth the need to PUSH and the value of patience in the time of waiting. An uncommon mentor births in her protégé intangible but valuable qualities like patience. 8*

9. Naomi respected and taught Ruth the Rules of Protocol, etiquette and engagement. 9*

10.Naomi understood, chose to identify, celebrate and be grateful for the moment of greatness that God has brought her into. After all efforts, you will enter a moment of greatness, which you well deserve, relish it and stay in it with all gratitude.

SPIRITUALITY: 35 GREATNESS KEYS FROM THE BOOK OF RUTH

SPIRITUALITY: 35 GREATNESS KEYS FROM THE BOOK OF RUTH
17 LESSONS FROM THE LIFE OF RUTH. Text. Ruth Chapters 1-4.
Ruth was a Moabite who had married one of Naomi’s Sons, when She and her family moved to Moab due to the famine in Israel. Below are 17 golden keys that can be observed from the life of this great woman.
1.Ruth was a woman in touch with her emotions. She did not hide or faker her feelings of loss and grief, rather, she let it all out.Ruth 1:8-9
2. Ruth was a woman of high integrity, she was true to her words, she meant what she said and said what she meant. Ruth 1:10,12,14.
3. She preferred and chose to explore the uncertainties of her future, than to be tied to the comfort of her present. Ruth 1:14.
4.She chose not to make a lasting, life-long decision based on the loss of the past. She had this “I will not shut the gate of the future based on the pain, grief or disappointment of the past” mindset. Ruth 1:14-15.
5.She understood that popular opinion isn’t always right. Ruth 1:15-16.
6.She had a strong resolve backed up by her faith in the God of her Mother-in-law, Naomi. Ruth 1:16.
7. She has been convinced and inspired by Naomi’s faith in crisis time. Ruth 1:6,21 Hebrews 13:7.
8. She believed and decided to follow the God of Israel no matter what. Ruth 1:17
9. She was proactive. She exercised initiative and was ready to deploy her survival instinct rather than a pitiable victim mentality. She went out to glean. Ruth 2:2.
10.Ruth was an uncommon protégé who cleaved to an uncommon Mentor- Naomi.
11. She was a woman who valued insight and relevant information chapter 2:1.
12. She never hesitated in asking for necessary favour and she was grateful when she received it. Ruth 2:7
13. She was diligent at gleaning; she gleaned from morning Ruth 2:7,
14. Sacrifice and kindness always attracts unmerited favour, respect and more kindness. Ruth 2:8-11.
15.The threshold of gleaning is the pathway to the fulfillment of purpose. Ruth 2:15-18.
16. Consistent, diligent gleaning is the pathway to greatness. Ruth 2:21-13; Ruth 3:11;4:13
17.Ruth understood and respected the law of protocol.
• She valued and obeyed the instruction of an uncommon mentor.3:1-5
• She understood the purpose and power of dressing for greatness. Ruth 3:3
• She conducted herself with decency and dignity. 3:10,14.
I believe we could learn one or more things from these lessons shared from the life of Ruth.
Watch out next week for more lessons from the book of Ruth.

Cheers!

SHARE GREATNESS

Life is a beautiful thing. However, much more than this, the most enjoyable things of life are the ones shared.
Life is at its best when shared.
The shared smiles and laughter, shared jokes and shared lessons of life are part of what makes life really fun.
The shared moments, shared victory, losses, shared hopes and dreams make life fulfilled.
I hope to share more value and more inspirational moments of greatness with you my friends.
If you have found value in this, please share with a friend.

SPIRITUALITY POST : BE SKILLFULL

It's a great day, I did enjoy an amazing service in church and watched another live service at home, it's indeed a super Sunday, I share a spirituality piece from Kenneth Copeland in today's post. Please Enjoy It and be blessed!

Be Skillful

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
– Psalm 34:10

Did you know that, according to the Word of God, there is no lack in the Body of Christ? Everything we could ever need, every problem we could ever face has been covered by the blood of Jesus. His exceeding great and precious promises have supplied it all.
Why then do many of us keep on suffering lack? Because we haven't, as Hebrews 5:13 says, become skillful in the Word of righteousness.
It takes skill to apply the Word of God. Most of us don't realize that. We just sling the Word around and try to use it any old way. We pray some ignorant prayer and then say, "Oh well, God knows what I mean" and expect it to be answered.
It's funny though. We'd never stand for that kind of carelessness in the natural realm. If our doctor came in and just threw a bottle of pills at us and said, "Here, take that," without even trying to find out what's wrong with us, we'd leave his office and never come back. Yet, we're shocked when that same careless attitude in the spiritual realm keeps our prayers from being effective.
We live in an "instant" society where everything is quick and easy. And too many of us are letting that instant mentality leak over into our walk with the Lord Jesus Christ. When someone needs healing, we bust through the hospital door, dab a little oil between their eyes and say, "Glory to God!" and out the door we go. Sometimes it doesn't take any longer than "In the Name of Jesus be healed!" But sometimes there is something else that must be done.
The time has come for us to shake off that "instant" mentality and realize that there are situations where we're going to have to take some time and pray in the Holy Ghost. Times when we're going to have to sit there and listen for God's instructions.
If you've come up short in any area of life—whether it be healing or finances or anything else—determine to develop your Word skills where that area is concerned. Get out your Bible. Read all through the healing scriptures. Read all through the miracle scriptures. Read all through the promises of God. Read all through the blessings of Abraham.
Meditate on them. Ask God to speak to you through them and to enlighten you about the situation you're facing. Don't just sling the Word around. Dig in to it. Fellowship with your Father over it. Let Him show you how to apply it skillfully, and eventually, you'll lack no good thing.

...KEEP AT IT!

DELIVER WORLD CLASS PERFORMANCE; KEEP AT IT!

"There is no such thing as natural touch. Touch is something you create by hitting millions of golf balls." -- Lee Trevino, golfer

Whatever you seek to succeed at or become very good at, you must learn to keep at it. In sports, most athletes spend hours, months and even years training and preparing for a great feat that will last minutes at a great tournament or competition like the Olympics. Every successful boxer spent  time working out, fighting hard and beating himself to the grind so he can deliver world class performance.
Mark Twain, (real name Samuel Langhorne Clemens) an American Author and humorist once noted, that it usually took him more than three weeks  to prepare for a good impromptu speech. That stresses the need in being ever ready.
You will never become a Master of a craft you have not served well enough. Serve your craft, move from average to Genius. You can go from playing small to world-class! It is possible. This is your destiny.
Not many super achievers were born with the natural touch of Genius but rather they worked it out till they attain that level of mastery.
There is an inspiring piece in the biography of Magic Johnson, he usually will wake up early and practice 200 shots every morning before he went to school. Everyday. Johnson recounting this told USA Weekend  "I practiced all day!"
There is a popular law called the 10,000-hour rule, it basically explains that people who achieve world class at their crafts have been known to spend about a total of 10,000 hours or more rehearsing, practising and giving their very best.

There is Greatness inside of you but you need to work at it, dig it up and bring it to the fore until it's unleashed on your world!

Rise to Greatness!
