Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?

Today I want to begin a journey that I have postponed; embarking on the millionaire series journey. I have always love the term 'millionaire' from a child. In fact, I once remember a simple story, as told by a teacher;  A teacher entered the class and asked his pupils  what they would love to be in the future.. Different pupils said different things from Engineer to Lawyer, Doctor  et . but when it came to the turn of  another boy- He voiced out " I want to be a millionaire!" and everyone laughed.

If you really want to be a Millionaire or a billionaire. it's nice being here, please follow me on this journey as we  share  more  value to know more and to do more and become more.

I BELIEVE IN THE GREATNESS OF NIGERIA

It's a great  day for us today in the Federal Republic of Nigeria, it is independence day and our beloved country Nigeria is 55 years old.
Nigeria is
a very great country, blessed with a population of over 170 million people, wonderful landmass with the world's rarest flora and fauna and so great natural resources.
Beyond its vast resources is its unequalled human and intellectual resources, a large part of which still remains untapped, unexplored and underutilized.
No nation exists without its challenges but Nigeria's challenges appear rather peculiar and only almost unique in its self, but it all rises and falls on the hinges of leadership, value reorientation and self governance.
I will always maintain the view point that, the greatness of any nation is tied closely to the greatness of its citizens. Just as pan-africanism; the solidarity of Africans within and in the diaspora to build the Africa of our dreams will open up a whole new world for us all; we  all are the solution to the challenges of Nigeria. A better world emerges when Nigeria  rises to its true greatness. I believe in the greatness of Nigeria, Africa and the world at large. Long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

To our National Greatness,

Tell Them A Story

Tell Them A Story
Are you a writer or a speaker? This piece will help you. There is something spectacular about great Speakers, they always Communicate and much more than that they connect with their audience.
The secret to great communication is having a point of connection or a common point with your audience. This common point usually might not be a point of common agreement, infact, it might be a basis for disagreement but above all it brings the listener or reader to the’Why?s’ and ‘Whats?’ of your discussion.
One great way of connecting with your audience is to tell them a story, often times we wake up or we jerk back from wandering off in a meeting when the speaker shares a story.
The art of story-telling is one that has evolved all through the ages and it is one which you need to use to a very great advantage. Whether you are a professional speaker, a Religious Leader, a company executive or a classroom teacher, a few ideas are shared in this piece to help you get started.
Study Master-story tellers. The greatest speakers and leaders through the ages are master story tellers. From using parables, stories and anecdotes to paint vivid images of their central message, to telling the story of their new product or the company vision. I am always amazed by the authenticity of the parable of Jesus in the bible
Tell them an interesting story. Everyone loves to listen to an interesting story, you do not need to exaggerate but get into the details of the story and make it interesting and as relevant to the subject at hand as possible.
Tell them your story. It’s a known fact that everyone in your audience or sphere of influence subconsciously asks you a question no matter how busy or how disengaged or disinterested they may appear. Their question is “What is your story?” One powerful way to successful tell a story is to be familiarize yourself with it to the point that you own it. The interesting thing about your story is the fact that you own it!
People connect with you in a personal way when you tell a story, especially your own story.
I did not set out to write an article, but rather to share my story, but it’s great to have shared this as well in the process.
Some of my personal stories were shared in articles, podcasts or youtube videos.

GREAT WORDS ON LIFE AND LEARNING

Learning

There are no friends or enemies; there are only teachers.
—Unknown

The mediocre teacher tells. The good teacher explains. The superior teacher demonstrates. The great teacher inspires.
—William Arthur Ward

Teaching is the highest form of understanding.
—Aristotle

Leaders are more powerful role models when they learn than when they teach.
—Rosabeth Moss Kantor

If you want to build a ship, don’t drum up people together to collect wood and don’t assign them tasks and work; rather teach them to long for
the endless immensity of the sea.
—Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

You cannot teach a man anything, you can only help him find it within himself.
—Galileo Galilei

I am always ready to learn although I do not always like being taught.
—Winston Churchill

If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.
—Albert Einstein

All teachings are mere references. The true experience is living your own life.
Then, even the holiest of words are only words.
—Deng Ming-Dao

I’m not a teacher: only a fellow traveler of whom you asked the way.
I pointed ahead—ahead of myself as well as you.
—George Bernard Shaw

When you want to teach children to think, you begin by treating them seriously when they are little, giving them responsibilities, talking to them candidly, providing privacy and solitude for them, and making them readers and thinkers of significant thoughts from the beginning.
—Bertrand Russell

The object of teaching a child is to enable him to get along without a teacher.
—Elbert Hubbard

Bodily exercise, when compulsory, does no harm to the body; but knowledge which is acquired under compulsion obtains no hold on the mind.
—Plato

To be agreeable in society, you must consent to be taught many things
which you already know.
—Talleyrand

Experience teaches only the teachable.
—Aldous Huxley

Most learning is not the result of instruction. It is rather the result of unhampered participation in a meaningful setting. Most people learn best by being “with it,” yet school makes them identify their personal, cognitive growth
with elaborate planning and manipulation.
—Ivan Illich

The true teacher defends his pupils against his own personal influence.
—Amos Bronson Alcott

We never know which lives we influence, or when, or why.
—Stephen King

True teachers are those who use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross; then, having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create their own.
—Nikos Kazantzakis

Everybody who is incapable of learning has taken to teaching.
—Oscar Wilde

Teaching is only demonstrating that it is possible.
Learning is making it possible for yourself.
—Paulo Coelho

When you wish to instruct, be brief; that men’s minds take in quickly what you say, learn its lesson, and retain it faithfully. Every word that is unnecessary only pours over the side of a brimming mind.
—Marcus Tullius Cicero

Real learning comes about when the competitive spirit has ceased.
—Jiddu Krishnamurti

I never teach my pupils, I only attempt to provide the conditions
in which they can learn.
—Albert Einstein

Share your knowledge. It is a way to achieve immortality.
—Dalai Lama XIV

The whole art of teaching is only the art of awakening the natural curiosity of the mind for the purpose of satisfying it afterwards.
—Anatole France
